Internet undergoes largest crash in the history
17th March 2009
The largest crash in the history of the World Wide Web was caused by an error of a Czech provider.
Most users of the global network in North America, Western Europe, Africa and Asia had been blocked.
The point is that while fixing errors on the server, a technician of the Czech provider set wrong parameters into the communication modems. Obsolete modems failed to stand the load and were blocked. After the complete disconnection of the guilty firm, the work was recovered.
