iPhone SDK will put an end to hacking Apple`s phone?
15th March 2008
Independent developers eventually gained access to a set of tools for creating applications on the platforms of iPhone and iPod Touch.
The developers have received the maximum broad opportunities for work, especially given the technology Cocoa Touch responsible for the use of touch screen for input. The released SDK will be the easiest in use for developers of applications for Mac OS X as iPhone uses the similar core. All API, features GPS, 3D-graphics, desktop environment Xcode have been closed. Additionally, Apple has announced a new tool of emulation Xcode iPhone to ensure better testing of programs created.
During the event of presenting SDK, many programs have been being demonstrated, from photo editors to mobile video games. Apple will soon open an online store where the developers will be able to sell their programs. In financial terms, they will owe 70% of the total price.
Of course, it is too early so far to speak about full disappearance of iPhone hacking programs for free installation of the application, but if Apple does not make excessively stringent requirements to the software and add them too slowly to the “white” list, such phenomenon as hacking iPhone should die out at all.
