Metal Gear Solid will be filmed

ComingSoon.net`s employees dug out information concerning filming the famous spy series Metal Gear Solid. Referring to the producer Michael De Luca, the reporters say that Columbia Pictures is going to seriously come down to the adaptation of the hit by Konami for large screens after the scriptwriters` strike ended successfully.
The producer really hopes that the film will be staged by Kurt Wimmer, the author of the famous science-fiction movie Equilibrium. Negotiations with Wimmer should begin pretty soon. Presumably, he would also act as a scriptwriter. We do hope that Metal Gear Solid will not repeat the sad fate of the majority of unsuccessful game adaptations.
