Microsoft announced 512-MB module for Xbox 360

Microsoft announced its plans to start production of a 512 MB memory module for multimedia centre Xbox 360. Using this module will allow to increase the maximum possible size of games for Xbox LIVE Arcade from 50 to 150 MB. According to the announce, an arcade game Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved will be temporarily installed to this module. It is expected that the module will come on sale in early April at a price of $ 50. Simultaneously with its release the price of the 64 MB module is going to drop from $ 40 to $ 30.
