Office Live Workspace is a kind of lite online version of SharePoint. It offers a repository for ordered storage of personal and work files and for providing public access to them. The service offers powerful tools for collective work with documents, reviewing and sharing comments. In the Office Live personal repository users will be able to store not just documents of Microsoft Office, but also any other data. The only limitation of the service is a ban on storing executable files.
This version supports directories and subdirectories, which is very convenient. The developers added a new mechanism to transfer files by means of copy-paste, which replaced the less convenient and effective Â«File / MoveÂ». And the most vital innovation is the increased storage capacity: 5 GB of server space for each user. Besides, they updated Office Live plugins for Microsoft Office and Firefox.
