Outpost Antivirus Pro 2008: cheap PC protection

The company of Agnitum, a developer of software products in the field of information security has expanded its products line by introducing the PC antivirus Outpost Antivirus Pro 2008.
The new antivirus will be packed in the traditional box of Agnitum. It should be recalled that until recently, the company has not had a separate anti-virus monitor and scanner, but only an anti-virus module in Outpost Security Suite Pro. The whole program is based on this module.

Currently the signature bases of Outpost Antivirus Pro 2008 have over 470 thousand records. These bases are updated hourly. The program can independently â€œlearnâ€ in the period of time set by the user. There is a â€œwhiteâ€ list of applications, the activity which will not be tracked. To speed up the re-inspection a special algorithm SmartScan is used.
Outpost Antivirus Pro 2008 supports Windows XP and Vista (including SP1). One of the most attractive factors of the program is its cost. It is twice lower than those of competing products (about $20). Hopefully, the product will satisfy the most demanding of users.
