Picasa becomes similar to Flickr

Google updated its service Picasa Web Albums, which gives users the ability to download photos for free. Previously, the services was more oriented to store photographs, but now it has become more like Flickr, which pays special attention to communication between users and the sharing of images. In particular, the new search function is available, which can find images in all public albums. On the page with one`s own gallery one can add links to galleries of other users. In addition, you can now receive alerts via e-mail when someone leaves a comment on your pictures. Also photos from albums can be inserted into blogs. Finally, disk space has been increased the -now users can used up to 1GB for free, if paid, you can store pictures of size up to 250 GB on Google servers.
