PlayStation proves to be dangerous

Swiss scientists determined that prolonged contact with the PlayStation game controller may cause specific dermatitis. The symptoms of the hydradenitis are painful indurations on palms.
At the moment, only one patient has been registered. It is a 12-year old resident of Geneva, who came to see a doctor complaining of severe pain in her palms. The girl claimed that the first signs of the disease had emerged about four weeks ago. During the check up it was found that the young lady daily spent several hours at the play station for a few days. The specialists believe that when playing, the girl seized the game controller too hard with sweaty hands.
The doctors recommended the teenager not to play for about 10 days.
Earlier, another group of scientists investigated the cases of acute tendinitis caused by prolonged use of Nintendo Wii. Now the list of potentially dangerous devices was added with Sony PlayStation.
As for the company representatives, of course, they reacted immediately. They say that only one case of disease proves nothing at all. Besides, the company places the blame on young people spending too much time playing at the device.
