RasterVect 13.3: combining the formats in no time
20th March 2008
RasterVect is a tool for converting raster images (including those obtained from the scanner) into the following formats: DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS and AI. These types of files are used in the programs of AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Microstation, VectorWorks, TrueCAD, FastCAD etc. RasterVect has a user-friendly interface and performs conversion quickly and correctly.
Users of RasterVect should remember that in order for raster image to be converted into a vector format, it must be single-digit, i.e. black and white, with no shades of grey color. If the image is of a different format, the program can automatically convert it, and then turn it into a vector format. The whole process takes a few seconds. Also, there is an opportunity of re-conversion: from raster image into a vector one.
The latest version improves drawing tools - now they work with masks.
