The Drills Of The Cyberattack Prove That U.S Is Unprepared
16th March 2010
Imagine if the huge cyberattack would hit the United States then what would happen. The attack would cripple the mobile phones and would also overwhelm both the telephone infrastructures as well as the electricity grid. Cyber Shockwave has been conceived as well as executed by the Bipartisan Policy Center and it also had the experts of the cybersecurity, who simulated such attacks and then it was discovered by them that the United States is not prepared in the true manner for handling a large scale of the cyber attacks. In an effort to spur the officials of the United States in order to take the cyber security more seriously, the Cyber Shockwave was brought together along with one group of the former high ranking officials of the White House, national security and the Cabinet in order to see that how they would be dealing if any such crisis occurs in real time.
Eileen McMenamin, who is the vice president of the communications for BPC, has said in one interview that they did not do any well in that situation. The Bipartisan Policy Center is one think tank, which is non profit, and it reaches across the party lines to come up with its solutions for the policy issues.
