The Sims 3: coming up

Apparently, the official announcement of the third part of the famous series will be held on the 19th of March this year. So far, we have no official information about that.
If you surf the network properly, you can find a record of the speech by Richard Evans at Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment Conference 2007. This is the very person responsible for the artificial intelligence of the protagonists in The Sims 3. He had much to tell to his numerous colleagues.
It is interesting, that all work on AI is elaborated in the two-dimensional prototype.
