Unreal Engine 4 is meant for consoles

Tim Sweeney from Epic tells about the Unreal Engine 4 technology, the work on which has already begun. According to the developer Unreal Engine 3 will go on being developed and updated with the closest regard to opportunities of current generation consoles. The process of engine`s upgrading will last until 2011-2012. In general, Unreal Engine 3 is going to have a long and interesting life.
Unreal Engine 4 is being created under the next generation consoles: future product from Xbox 360 from Microsoft and PlayStation 4 from Sony. The list also may include playstation from Nintendo if the company creates a machine with the proper specifications. Only later the technology will be adapted under PC.
