Updating of Zune is delayed

Microsoft still plans to update Zune player software fixing several errors, but it will take more time than it was expected first. Remember, that troubles were found when playing the tracks from the online Microsoft shop, they were simply skipped during the playback. Besides, it was necessary to improve the consistency with Vista and to make minor changes to the operation. They announced last month that the update will be released in the middle of March, but how you can understand that Microsoft was unable to work against time. New release-date has not been announced, but according to Jason Reindorp, the head of marketing department of the company, “the update is almost ready”. “The first date was based on the time for development and the normal testing. However, we sometimes need more or less time”, said Reindorp. Zune Player has appeared in shops in November last year and in December Microsoft released a patch to work correctly with Vista, although the system was not yet on sale.
