VideoLAN 0.8.6e: streaming player

VideoLAN player, first of all, can be used in networks for viewing media stream. The utility can not only play video transmitted over the network, but also relay streaming data. The program supports UDP Unicast, UDP Multicast (MPEG-TS), HTTP, RTP / RTSP, MMS. The program is more oriented to watch videos rather than to listen to the audio data, so it has a lot of original options for video playback.
By means of this player you can view DVD, video files of the formats MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 / DivX; use it as a utility for work with video capturing devices.
The latest version fixes bugs, which related to the programâ€™s security system. In particular, the errors related to modules for work with MP4, subtitles and Real RTSP.
