Virtual Dub 1.8.0 Experimental: free video processing

Another experimental release of the popular utility for work with video. This is a free, and a very handy tool for editing digital video. The program can cut and patch video, as well as impose additional filters to the image. One of the advantages of Virtual Dub is the possibility of cutting and patching video files without re-compression, and thus, without any loss of quality.
The latest version improves the support of audio, in particular, adds support of reading and recording VBR with the correct synchronizing, adds a choice of audio-track, introduces a built-in support of A-law, MP2, MP3. Besides, internal plug-ins work with VBR audio.
