Yahoo! OneSearch : new search system for mobile phones

The Yahoo! company introduced a new search system on the Internet for mobile phone users. The search for mobile phones Yahoo! oneSearch was announced in early January. The system is characterized by the fact that displays to the user's query not simply appropriate links, but relevant content which relates to the location of the user. If a person enters into the search box a movie name, OneSearch will give a list of nearest to the user cinemas, where this movie goes at the moment, ratings of other users, as well as news that are relevant to the movie. To get results that are consistent with the location of a user, the latter must enter his/her zip code or city name (yet it refers to population of the United States only). Found results are grouped by topic and organized in such a way that they are easy to see and to receive more detailed information about them. All results are placed on the same page. Yahoo! has already begun wide distribution of OneSearch in the United States. The company already has agreements with Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and LG Electronics on the inclusion of this service into all mobile phones, which provide a browser. Before the end of the year, OneSearch will be available at the international market.
