A new version of Active WebCam has been released, a program which helps to take full advantage of your web camera. With the help of the program you can broadcast through the camera, turning your own computer into HTTP-server, downloading data at FTP-server or allowing remote connection to your PC. In addition, registered users of the program can transfer data from a camera to the web server of Active WebCam. This method’s best feature is the ability of users to watch video without connecting to a computer, to which a web camera is plugged - they only need to know a link to view on the server of Active WebCam. Images transmitted can be overlaid with captions.
The latest version corrects some errors.
