Adobe Systems publishes Flex Code

Adobe Systems is making an unprecedented step laying down their cards to the developers. In an open code a set of tools for a multi Internet-applications Flex will be revealed. The package will include languages used for developing Flex-applications, MXML and ActionScript 3.0, the elements of UI, the code compiler and library of classes. The package will be published under the Mozilla Public License, which is one of the licenses for the publication of free software. The kit is available for download now, while the release of Flex SDK code will be made gradually. In June access to the accounting errors discovered in Flex will be granted, as well as an opportunity to fix them. To be in the know of all the platform updates, subscribers will receive new versions of updates to the code. The central code repository will be established at the end of 2007 and anybody will be able to make changes in it. However, the environment of developing Flex Builder, Adobe is going to distribute on the commercial basis in the future.
