Apple introduces iPhone OS 3.0

Recently, Apple has introduced iPhone OS 3.0. Apps developers got the beta version of the software and the SDK toolkit. It has been announced that the toolkit includes more than 1 000 new API. The platform itself contains about 100 changes for iPhone and iPod touch.
The most significant innovations are the following: support of copy-paste; MMS (only in iPhone); stereo Bluetooth, managing the player by shaking; landscape mode for notes; text and mail; parental control for apps from App Store.
Besides, at installing iPhone OS 3.0, owners of Apple devices will be able to create voice notes, and search in programs.
Developers can download the beta version of iPhone OS 3.0 from the official site of the developer. Ordinary users will be able to update their OS of iPhone (for free) and iPod touch (for $ 9.95) only in summer.
