Bethesda outbid rights on Fallout
19th April 2007
Since April 9 of this year, the intellectual rights on Fallout have entirely passed into Bethesda Softworks hands. Interplay abandoned the famous franchise for $ 5750000. By coincidence, Interplay, which had released the first two parts of legendary series, now has to take a license for using the franchise for developing a mythical “Fallout Massively Multiplayer Online Game”, which supposedly will be released in 2010. It won`t have any effect on the development of Fallout 3. We hope that developers will soon cease to torture us with different excuses and senseless comments, and finally will share the information on anticipated RPG.
