After you have written another CD-R or CD-RW it is better to check it for errors. You can do it with CDCheck utility. This program consists of a number of utilities which can quickly and accurately check the media. To determine the quality of recorded disc the program uses a checksum of all files on the media. Information provided by CDCheck includes: the number of read-in information compared to total volume of the disk, data reading speed in Kb / sec, current and approximate time of disk checking, and also the number of folders with files. The results of media checking can be saved in text file or as MS Excel table. They have simplified in the latest version the creation of hash-files, checking of files, folders and chapters, they added also automatic identification of hash-files during the check, a quick binary comparison of files, the support for CD; they simplified the process of recovery; they added the support for Unicode and files the size of which is larger than 4 Gb. They also improved the stability, added new languages in interface and improved the function of keeping the logs and error reports.
