CNET starts CNET- television

Media- corporation CNET Networks (noted for its sites CNET.com and Download.com) declared on Monday about the fact that it will neglect tele-network CNET TV, which is the cable television "to order" (on demand network). To watch CNET TV will be possible through the special video receivers TiVo, and also through the Internet. Company CNET Networks was based in 1993 and it was at first occupied by the creation of television programs about the computers, the computer technologies and the Internet. In the beginning of 2000 the company acquired the Web site mySimon being specialized at sales for the sum of $700 million. During October 2000 CNET Networks acquired site ZDNet.com for the sum of approximately $1,6 billion. At present corporations CNET Networks belong such known sites as download.com, news.com, computers.com, gamespot.com and gamefaqs.com.
