McObject has released the product eXtremeDB 3.1 - the updated version of the popular built-in database managementsystem of real time. The proposed version eXtremeDB, which was developed taking into account specific needs of users of GIS-applications, offers the improved indexing mechanisms, providing quick access to spatial data. Among other advantages of eXtremeDB are the small amount of occupied memory (about 50 Kb), and 64-bit database managementsystem version supports storages with the volume of more than one terabyte, allowing you to find out quickly the necessary information in repositories of GIS-data. ExtremeDB High Availability Edition differs by higher fault tolerance, permitting the decompression of several completely timed data-bases on a single hardware platform or on several distributed systems equipped with means of automatic rebuild after bug.
