FlexiCapture 8.0 Professional: system of data input for enterprises

ABBYY Company has introduced a new version of the program FlexiCapture 8.0 Professional, which is designed for mass entry and processing of invoices, bladings, resumes, treaties and other common types of paper documents. ABBYY FlexiCapture 8.0 allows enterprises to refuse pre-sorting of documents and manual data entry. Documents can come in the system in a single stream, without pre-sorting. For example, a bank customer, applying on a credit, usually together with the application fills several forms more, and also provides a copy of a passport, copies of the movable and immovable property. Such packages of different documents ABBYY FlexiCapture can process automatically. The classification of documents and extraction of data are achieved by new IDR (Intelligent Document Recognition) technology. During the processing technologies of ABBYY Recognition of printed text, and text written by hand are used, also of barcodes, marks and ticks, which can often be present in blanks and forms. ABBYY FlexiCapture 8.0 can perform the full range of work on potokovomu data entry on a single computer, also supports distributed task processing on several PC. The recognition of documents also can be performed in the background mode on multiprocessor and multi-core computers. The system also supports the distributed document entry in a local network. Compatibility of FlexiCapture 8.0 with scanners, servers and databases can be automated using standard scripting languages. The release and sales beginning of ABBYY FlexiCapture 8.0 Professional are scheduled on the summer of 2007, and now the beta-test of the product is taking place.
