French pupils will pay for their Math homework
2nd April 2009
Some very smart Frenchman decided to launch an online service, solving mathematic tasks. The service is a place where children from all over the world can publish their problems they faced in school, and French students (obviously, specializing in Match) would solve the problem and publish the answer. Of course, the project is not free. Pupils have to pay for using the project, but the price seems to be really low.
For example, solving an average mathematical problem will cost you €5. The service also provides special PowerPoint voiced presentations which are to help pupils understand the problem as if it was explained by a teacher. This service costs €80.
In the whole country there is only one group disliking the idea: teachers of secondary and high schools. They think, such services are only destroying the education system as students are sure to prefer paying, rather than trying to think harder.
