2nd April 2009
A new version of GMER, a program intended to define and remove rootkits from the system. Rootkits, as you probably know, are programs used to hide the processes of malicious codes, in order that antivirus could not find them.
The application searches for hidden processes, modules, services, files, registry keys. In addition, using GMER one can monitor the loading of drivers, creating processes, loading libraries, recording new entries in the registry, establishing TCP/IP connections, as well as other files actions.
