Google gives advertisement on Picasa

The search giant goes on offering its advertising in a lite way. Now it “captured” the site of Picasa, a Google`s project. Pages for pics and galleries do not display advertising, but it is displayed when searching.
According to Google representatives, the innovation is part of the global innovative plan, meant to help users to get information in a more convenient and accessible way. It should be noted that it is not a common practice, that Google gives advertising on their own sites, which may seem at least queer.
Now the company is looking for additional ways of income in order to avoid firing people.
