Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 receives “Choice of reduction” reward of German magazine PC Professionell

During the comparative testing carried out by German magazine "PC Professionell" together with “AV-Test” laboratory, Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 received a reward “Choice of reduction”. The test used 713883 various malicious programs. Only Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 and “G Data Antivirenkit 2007” (a product that uses anti-virus engine of “Kaspersky Lab”) have passed the test with excellent mark. Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 has left behind seven competitors, including G Data Antivirenkit 2007, Avira Antivir Personal Edition Premium 7, Softwin Bitdefender Antivirus 10 and Symantec Norton Antivirus 2007. The solution of “Kaspersky Lab” has been got high marks on criteria of the detection of malicious code in alternative data flows, self-defense and rootkit disclosure.
