Mafia II: new details

The Czech site of Tiscali Games, as usual, faster than all released new details on one of the major games of the coming years, Mafia II. Here are some abstracts:
the action is set in the fictional American Empire City, the size of which is 10 square kilometers. This is almost twice as many as Lost Heaven from Mafia;
we are promised to see dozens of unique streets like in San Francisco;
the main platforms are Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC-version will be released later;
the release is scheduled to 2009 (spring or summer).
Judging by the new screenshots, Mafia II will easily “beat up” GTA and all its numerous clones. At least in terms of graphics.
