Microsoft has updated Windows defender utility

Microsoft has renewed utility "Windows defender", earlier known as "Windows antiSpyware", to version Beta 2 build 1347. Utility performs search and removal of harmful programs with PC in the background mode. The first beta program was presented approximately one year ago and worked only on the computers with OS Windows XP installed. According to the data, today it was downloaded by 25 million users. The second beta version of utility supports OS Windows 2000/Server 2003 and 64-bit version of Windows XP. Modifications were done under the search module of the program, the diagram of monitoring computer. Developers promise the more precise "capture" of spy modules and the determination of earlier unknown harmful programs. Unessential changes touched the interface and icons in the panel of tasks, reports InternetNews.
