Microsoft is accused of deceiving its users
13th April 2007
Diane Kelly brought a suit against Microsoft Company. To her opinion, Microsoft deceives the users, using their logotypes of the compatibility of Windows Vista with PCs which are not able to provide the full work of the new operating system. Although Microsoft rejects the claims, the threat of the suit can make the company reconsider the minimum demands for Windows Vista, DailyTech says. First software giant said that the logotype “Windows Vista Capable” is designed to assure users that they are buying PC, which is suitable for the normal work with Windows Vista. After news about the lawsuit there appeared the explanation that computers which have “Windows Vista Capable” can provide the work of Windows Vista on minimum level, and for working of some features which are available in version “premium” you will need the improvements of PC parameters. This is not the first suit against Microsoft, earlier islander Kamano (Washington state) has already brought the action against the company on account of logotype Windows Vista Capable
