Microsoft warned on Monday that it will be sent to millions of people in THE USA, Great Britain, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. After load and installation of Windows genuine Advantage Notifications tool the users of pirate copies with the start of system, registration in the network and in the process of work will receive warnings of the following content: "this copy Windows is illegal; possibly, you became the victim of the producers of fake software ". Those, who use legal copy, will see no communications, assures Microsoft. According to the director of program Microsoft Windows genuine Devid Lazar, the load of tool will be possible to refuse or uninstall it. The warnings, which appear during work of Windows, also can be turned off by clicking on it by the right mouse button. In the warnings there is the reference to the Web site, where it is explained, what should people do, whose version of Windows proved to be pirate. On the same week Microsoft release the program Office Genuine Advantage, which checks the authenticity of the installed copies of the office applications. Initially it is planned to test this program in seven languages: the Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Greek, Korean, simplified Chinese, Russian and Spanish. All of this - the part of the program of Microsoft fight with the piracy. Windows genuine Advantage (WGA) program was neglected during September 2004. From July users of Windows XP had to confirm the authenticity of operating system in order to download additional software, such as Windows Defender, Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer 7. However, hackers rapidly found the methods to avoid this checking. Passage to the preventive messages began during November of past year from Norway and Sweden, and during February it was disseminated in Czechia, Denmark, Israel, Poland and Taiwan.
