New Software from General Software reduces boot time of Vista for Embedded Systems to 24 seconds

In Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) which has been taken place in San Jose General Software Company has demonstrated software built on the basis of StrongFrame technology, which increases multiply the speed of boot of Vista for Embedded Systems, says http://www.windowsfordevices.com. To demonstrate the improved weaving for BIOS they used the system which includes Via motherboard and HHDD from Samsung. The tests showed that the boot of Vista from power-up till the display of desktop took just 24 seconds, compared with 72 seconds provided by standard BIOS. Besides, software Quickboot for Windows Vista helped to return the system from waiting mode to up state for 11 seconds. Quickboot for Windows Vista solution is already available for licensing.
