Outlook on the Desktop - now Outlook calendar always at hand
11th April 2008
The programmer Michael Scrivo created a special program OotD (Outlook on the Desktop), seriously facilitating access to the personal calendar of the Microsoft Outlook package and all features of this calendar.
The package OotD puts the Outlook calendar to your desktop in the translucent mode. Thus, a user can any moment see his schedule, edit list of current challenges, make marks on the tasks and drag files to it.
In addition to the calendar, the package provides a convenient window for a user to display inbox messages folders, as well as lists of contacts, tasks and notes. The window`s position and transparency are flexible to configure. To control OotD parameters there is a special icon in the field of notifications next to the time and date. In addition, the program supports displaying the working calendar on the desktop when using multiple monitors. OotD is free, but the author on his website said that he won`t mind it.
