Paint.NET 3.05: image editing

We have a new version of free software for work with images Paint.NET. It was developed in the Washington University to replace MS Paint. In comparison with the latter, the software has a great amount of advantages, in particular, support of work with layers, there is the possibility of creating a various effects. The latest version has a new effect which imitates a sketch in pencil, the support for Windows Vista is improved, navigation menu is also improved, automatic reboot when changing the language is added, performance when working with multiple-processor systems is refined and some corrections have been made.
