Plugin Alibre 3D Publisher adds new features in Google SketchUp

Alibre Company, a developer of free software for solid-state 3D modeling Alibre Design Xpress, announced the release of add-on for Google SketchUp. Plugin Alibre 3D Publisher enables you to convert 3D-models from CAD-systems and 3D-editors to formats STEP, IGES and SAT. Thus, due to the plug-in, in Google programs models can be used, developed in SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA, Unigraphics, SolidEdge, Inventor, Rhino, Maya and other popular applications. Models developed in the Alibre Design Xpress, can be opened in Google SketchUp format, can be edited and completed in this program and then can be uploaded to Google 3D Warehouse or placed to Google Earth.
