Realtek HD Audio 1.89 for Win2000/WinXP and Windows Vista.

A new version of the driver Realtek HD Audio 1.89 for Win2000/WinXP and Windows Vista has come out.
The driver for Win2000/WinXP supports codecs ALC880, ALC882, ALC883, ALC885, ALC888, ALC861VC, ALC861VD, ALC660, ALC662, ALC260, ALC262, ALC267, ALC268, ALC269. The package includes WDM driver for Win2000/WinXP and Winx64 (5.10.0.5582 version), utilities of Realtek Soundman (version 1.0.0.30), and Realtek Sound Effect Manager.
The driver for Windows Vista supports the codecs of ALC882, ALC883, ALC885, ALC888, ALC861VD, ALC660, ALC662, ALC260, ALC262, ALC267, ALC268, ALC269. The package includes a driver for Vista x86 and x64 (version 6.0.1.5582), as well as the utilities of Realtek Sound Effect Manager.
The advantages of High Definition Audio before AC'97 are the support of new formats, a higher frequency of bandwidth, the support of audio Plug and Play, a more accurate speech recognition.
