Perpetuum Software Company is announcing the release of beta version of Report Sharp-Shooter component. Now the product is fully compatible with the platform .NET 2.0. You can change or set the style, size, font, format and text justification. Writing of expressions for the element properties has become even more easier: it`s no need to call the expression editor, just set the expression on the toolbar. Pouring editor is available. Syntax highlight. They added in expression editor some new capabilities similar to that of Visual Studio.Net: they added syntax highlight and code completion function. Now it is much easier and more convenient to write scripts in Report Sharp-Shooter. Also they added the improved component for reports viewing. An interface of the improved component for reports viewing in Windows applications has become more attractive. There is also the revised mechanism for data grouping. Now the work with groups has become simpler and more convenient. There appeared the opportunity of sorting groups and elements in them. Besides, Master-Detail reports and group reports are formed uniformly which accelerates the study of work with reports generator. Functionality of DataBand is expanded. Now this component can filter and sort the derived data. There is also the revised working mechanism with aggregate functions. The sizing up is carried out much easier; a wider range of aggregate functions is available. Group totals are calculated automatically, without any need to indicate the current group.
