Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile 6: safe data protection on pocket PC and smartphones

Steganos company has officially introduced the new product called Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile 6, designed to provide information security on smartphones and pocket PC running under Windows Mobile 6, Classic and Professional versions. Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile is a solution of a class “all in one”, and complements the already existing products Steganos for data protection at home and office PCs.
One of the main features of Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile is “mobile safeÂ», in which you can place various private and personal information, including emails, contacts data and calendar entries. Built-in “Crypt & Go” function helps to encrypt photos or any other documents, and a function “mobile Schroeder” helps to delete all documents in the device without the possibility of expand. Very convenient in Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile is the function of password management on mobile devices. For better protection as the password to the “Mobile safe” and other encrypted documents you can use not a sequence of letters and numbers, but the sequence of images, entered by either using PicPass function (selection of images from the series), or by PassCube (pictures are displayed on the borders of cube). For text passwords you can use a special generator of stable passwords. For combating against unauthorized access to the device Steganos Privacy Suite Mobile 6 offers Bluetooth PhoneLock feature - it can remotely lock the device from any attempts to access. Also an automatic locking of device is supported, if it loses the connection with some Bluetooth-device which the user determines, for example, with a wireless headset. The device can be unlocked also by a wireless Bluetooth interface, but if Bluetooth is switched off or battery power is very low for the use of Bluetooth, you can use unlocking by a password. Together with a new solution for data protection on the PDA and Smartphones with Windows Mobile, Steganos company also introduced new versions of products already familiar to users - Steganos Privacy Suite 11 and Steganos Safe 11.
