Stormrise made their project Vista-exclusive

It became officially known that the strategy of Stormrise from the famous studio Creative Assembly will be supported by DirectX 10 only. This automatically turns the project into a Windows Vista- exclusive.
The Stormrise head designer, Artem Kulakov, gave an interview to PC Games Hardware. He said, that the authors chose DX10, because it facilitates the game`s porting to consoles, as well as gives an opportunity to improve graphics` quality and performance.
Unfortunately, such platform restrictions may adversely affect the game`s sales. Still, Vista is not the most popular operating system in the world.
