Vista Start Menu 2.8: alternative to the “Start” menu
26th April 2008
There are many programs, improving any Windows features. The utility Vista Start Menu is one of them. This small program is an alternative to the menu "Start". The main difference is that labels on applications that are installed in the system do not change their position and are constantly at the same place. Labels in Vista Start Menu are listed alphabetically, and even if a user removes one of the programs, the situation does not change for the rest of labels. Instead, a blank space occurs at the place of the removed program. When a user installs a new program, this space gets filled. In addition, the menu of Vista Start Menu is much more user-friendly than that of the “Start” menu.
The latest version adds support of skins.
