10 million copies of Ace Combat

Namco Bandai has officially stated that a total circulation of all games of the series Ace Combat exceeded 10 million copies. Of course, this is far from 100 million sold boxes with the logo of The Sims, but still quite good.
Ace Combat is a wonderful example of how to make games of planes under playstations. Of course, fans of real air-simulators may consider the whole series a great joke, nevertheless, it is incredibly interesting to play such games. There is no need to ponder over the navigation. All is simplified to maximum. You just fly and destroy hundreds of enemy vehicles. Pure pleasure.
Thus, Ace Combat 6 is not only excellent played, but also looks simply superb.
