Adobe announced PostScript driver for Vista
20th May 2007
The Adobe Company has announced the soon availability of a new driver for printers, which will enable users of Windows Vista to use all the resources of PostScript printers. Since July this year, Adobe will begin selling the driver to its partners who supply printers. It is expected that these partners will sell the new driver along with their devices.
The driver provides a higher print quality, in particular, comparing to programs of Microsoft Office. It can print effects of transparency and gradient, which are present in the new operating system. For printers` manufacturers it is not required to make changes into their products
