Call of Duty 4 is a phenomenal game any way. The project from Activision and Infinity Ward keeps selling really well (over 9 million copies already), having become the main multiplayer shooter of recent years, being ahead of all competitors, including Team Fortress 2, Quake Wars, Halo 3, etc. It turned out that even after many months after the release, the project manages to set records.
As it turned out, a new set of maps (Variety Map Pack) for Call of Duty 4 for nine days has been downloaded more than a million times. In the first days after its appearance in Xbox Live Marketplace, the network crashed under the fans visiting. This digital joy costs about $10.
