Company NEC became victim

Company NEC became victim of one of the largest pirate machinations in the history. The organized criminal group, which acted in the territory of Japan, China and Taiwan, under the guise of the official NEC representatives fixed the illegal production of electronics under brand NEC at 18 plants in the Asian region. It is reported that the pirates not only produced the copies of the original NEC devices, but also released their own developments under the brand of this company. Moreover, as note NEC representatives, the produced forgeries were sufficient high quality. At all pirates produced more than 50 designations of goods, beginning from the accessories for the domestic cinemas and concluding by digital players. Criminals even included in the delivery set of the forgeries the instruction on use and allegedly original guarantee papers. The large-scale illegal production of electronics under brand NEC lasted since 2004. Two years after the appearance of the first forgeries on the market, as a result of the particular investigation, initiated by NEC, the activity of criminal group is stopped and its leaders are under arrest.
