Critical vulnerability was found in Adobe Photoshop CS2, CS3

A critical vulnerability was found in Photoshop Creative Suite 3, which came out just a month ago. It is noteworthy that the exploit found by Secunia Company, is also presented in Creative Suite 2. It causes buffer overflow while editing files of the formats . bmp. dib and. rle. Once the buffer overflow occurred, the attacker gets full access to the file system of the infected computer. The Secunia reported that the code their people had opened has been already issued, but after some time some hackers` exploit, acting similarly, but using another source code structure. The Secunia strongly advise to be attentive to the resources form which users download a picture into their image editor, because Adobe has not yet released an "antidotes " At the moment, Adobe experts are studying the vulnerability and have started working on its liquidation.
