Expression Studio 2 went on sale

Microsoft has updated their software package Expression Studio 2 for web designers and all those working with multimedia content. Expression Studio 2 includes Expression Web for web designers; Expression Blend for multimedia and 3D-designers; Expression Design for work with graphics; Expression Media for saving and sharing projects; and Expression Encoder to encode video. The release is of several noteworthy things. First, Expression Encoder is introduced as a full independent product for the first time; secondly, all developers of the line got the support of the Silverlight technology. Previously the support was available only in Expression Web and in limited form.
Expression Studio 2 in general and Silverlight in particular are the main arguments of Microsoft in its rivalry with Adobe Creative Suite and Flash.
