Final Fantasy XIII: next stop - Europe
31st May 2009
While Japanese gamers are playing a featureless demo version of Final Fantasy XIII, European users are forced to get killed with boring waiting for Square Enix to announce the date of releasing the next part of the famous series.
Recently, a company representative, Yoshinori Kitase, said in an interview to Videogamer, that, traditionally, the time difference between the Japanese and American release of Final Fantasy is about 6 months. But with Europe this period, as a rule, is a year.
This time, experts will try their best to minimize the time gap. For example, developers have already begun dubbing the game in English and translating the text (even before completing the Japanese version of the game). Hopefully, it will not take Final Fantasy XIII two more years to get to Europe.
