FreeRIP 3.0: lossless compression

A new version of the simple ripper-compressor has been released. The program contains built-in coders LAME (MP3) and Ogg Vorbis, it can convert already existing WAV-file in one of these formats. There is in the program two modes of operation â€“ for one file processing and processing in batch mode. During the ripping or compression you can set volume level. FreeRIP supports online freedb database and automatic tags filling, so if you are connected to the Internet all data on the album title, artistâ€™s name and tracks can be automatically filled. The program is translated into more than 25 languages.
The latest version supports ID3 v2 tags. There is also an opportunity to access FreeRIP CD Database, an open reservoir of information on disks.
