Gizmodo compared speed of Windows 7 and Vista

Gizmodo published results of comparing the speed of Windows 7 and Windows Vista. 32-bit versions of these operating systems have been tested on the same machine with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB RAM and a video card of Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT (256 MB) .
The test results showed that Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 is but a little faster than Windows Vista SP1. So, so far any talk about the breakthrough in performance is just out of the question.
